Objective One: Acquire knowledge and skills to practice effectively
Item One is a 15-page literature review describing the diagnosis of Bulimia Nervosa and evidence-based treatment options. This project demonstrates my ability to review articles and integrate them into a sophisticated literature review.
Item Two is a 8-page project informing the reader of Florida State law pertaining to counseling including information about liscensure requirements, definitions and scope of practice, confidential and priviledged communication, and record keeping. This project highlings my ability to understand and apply the laws in my state to professional practice.
Item Three is a 6-page example of a case conceptualization and treatment plan that I developed. This demonstrates that I have acquired adequate experience and abilities to fucntion competently as a clinical mental health counselor in a community setting.
Objective Two: Value Professional Diligence and life-long learning
Item One is a 6-page narrative illustrating my personal career development. This narrative demonstrates my willingness to continue life-long learning and ability to adapt skills from previous careers and educational experiences.
Item Two is a narrated PowerPoint utilizing voice thread speaking about my professional growth over the course of my matriculation at Wake Forest University. This presentation highlights my passion to continue my path of life-long learning.

Item Three is an 11-page research paper providing insights into the validity and reliability of the SAT and highlights many of the culturally biased aspects of the test while proposing further research opportunities. This paper highlighs my ability to critically examine assessment tools and stresses my passion to practice ethically by understanding the current issues presented in achievement testing that many of my clients rely on taking in order to graduate.
Objective Three: Excel as community leaders, advocates, and practitioners
Item One is a 6-page case conceptualizaiton for a school faculty member. This conceptualization demonstrates my ability to consult with school faculty on a case and develop solid intervention strategies for classroom management issues.
Item Two is an 11-page case conceptualization and treatment plan for George Jung, a former American drug trafficker and smuggler who was a major figure in the cocain traide in the 1970s and early 1980s. This paper demonstrates my ability to excel as a practtioner and demonstrates my ability to process, conceptualize, and develop a solid treatment plan for a client suffering from addiction issues.
Item Three is a 6-page project describing a wellness program for parents who have children that have been diagnosed with developmental delays. This project highlights my ability to collaboratively create a program for a vulnerable population, thereby demonstrating my leadership and advocacy skills.
Objective Four: Possess a deep awareness of themselves and of their impact on others
Item one is a PowerPoint presentation that describes the connection between wellness and spirituality. This project highlights my ability to think critically about my own values as a clinician and how my choices impact those who I see in practice.
Item Two is a 4-page reflection describing how my family helped to shape me into the individual that I am today. Being cognizant of my family of orgiin allows me to understand my preferences to certain behaviors and how my behaviors impact others.
Objective Five: Commit to the compassionate service of humanity and foster the well-being of people at the local, state, national, and international level
Item One is a 7-page artifact examing consultation methods for working with educators experiencing classroom managment issues. This artifact highlights my ability to work collaboratively with multiple parties to achieve success in a classroom setting; illustrating my commitment to fostering the well-being of students, factulty, and family systems.
Item Two is an 11-page research paper explaining the diagnosis of Social Anxiety Disorder, prevalence of the disorder, research needs, and fictional case conceptualization and treatment plan. This paper showcases my commitment to empathetically serving individuals and my desire to promote the welfare of all people.
Item Three is a PowerPoint presentation highlighting many of the cultural dispartiies and disadvantages that women face societally. This presentation showcases my commitment to being sensitive to gender stereotyping and my commitment to providing the best care to foster client well-being.
